1. Introduction

These General Terms & Conditions ("T&C") govern the provision of moving and logistics services by HetoGrow Logistics ("we," "us," or "our") to you, the customer ("you" or "your"). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these T&C.


Please note that our crew are decent people with families and are happy to help you as reasonably as possible. Kindly treat them with respect and prioritise health and safety. We won’t tolerate any kind of abuse.


We will carry your items as seen hence expect our customers to honestly disclose material information like fragility, box/package labelling, grant consent to test an item especially electronics as we deem fit and confirm that items to be moved are NOT illegal.  Thank you for your cooperation.


2. Services

2.1. Our services include, but are not limited to: 

   a) Man and Van hire

   b) House moves 

   c) Office relocations 

   d) Furniture removals

   e) Logistics planning and support 

   f) Cardboard recycling

  g) Equipment hire - mobile crane, heavy duty strapping chain, etc


2.2. Services not included unless specifically agreed upon in writing:

   a) Dismantling/reassembly of furniture

   b) Long-distance moves out of London.

   c) International moves

   d) Storage 

   e) Packing and unpacking services (unless specifically agreed upon)


3. Customer Responsibilities

3.1. You are responsible for:

   a) Providing accurate and complete information about your move.

   b) Ensuring clear access for our vehicles to the pickup and delivery locations.

   c) Ensuring the safety of our crew and their equipment.

   d) Providing adequate assistance to our crew during the move.

   e) Ensuring all items to be moved are properly packed and secured.

   f) Disclosing any fragile or valuable items.


4. Liability

4.1. Our liability for loss or damage to your property is limited, unless such loss or damage is caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.

4.2. We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by:

   a) Acts of God (uncontrollable force of nature like earthquakes, floods or other severe weather conditions)

   b) Customer negligence or misconduct

   c) Inherent vice of goods (e.g., perishable items)

   d) Any third-party actions.


5. Insurance

5.1. We recommend that you obtain appropriate insurance to cover your belongings during the move.

5.2. Optional insurance coverage may be available. Please inquire about available options and their associated costs.


6. Data Privacy

6.1. We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on  our privacy policy page.


7. Dispute Resolution

7.1. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through mediation/arbitration as a first resort. If mediation/arbitration fails, the parties may resort to litigation in the courts of the UK.


8. Governing Law

8.1. This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the UK.


9. Severability

9.1. If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed from this agreement and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.


10. Changes to T&C

10.1. We reserve the right to update these T&C at any time. Any changes will be posted and updated version will be available on our website.

Quote and Additional Charge

Note that the basic data we collect about you is purely to help us send you a quote and process your request. Basic quote assumption is ground floor to ground floor unless otherwise advised by you.


We reserve the right to revise our quotation or apply additional charges if:

1. New circumstance arises or new information about your job materialises.

2. We arrive at your location and the information provided is wrong or your items are not ready to be collected. We will charge for waiting after 15 minutes and we will charge attendance fee if you cancel on us on arrival or whilst en route. Fees are based on prevailing rate on day of job.

3. Parking and access to the collection or delivery is not available or unreasonable. If we incur related fees/charges, we will bill you for these. 

4. Delays outside our control result in unreasonable time being spent on your job.

5. Dismantling, assembling, disconnecting or reconnecting furniture, fittings, appliances, etc not pre-agreed become necessary.

6. Move unusual items not previously disclosed or which may require additional support and care to move safely to avoid injury or damage such as overtly heavy items, oversized items, additional wrapping and repacking, etc.

7. We supply additional services.

8. Note that items to be hand carried like boxes, bags, suitcases, etc. should be 20kg or less. Excess weight may attract additional charges at our discretion.
