1. Introduction

These General Terms & Conditions ("T&C") govern the provision of man and van moving and logistics services by HetoGrow Logistics ("we," "us," or "our") to you, the customer ("you" or "your"). By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these T&C.


Professional Conduct: Our team members are dedicated professionals. We kindly ask our customers to treat our crew with respect and prioritise health and safety. We maintain a zero tolerance policy towards any form of abuse or harassment.


Transparency: We move items as presented. We expect customers to disclose material information (such as fragility or specific handling requirements), clearly label all packages, and confirm that items are not illegal or hazardous. We reserve the right to test electronic items as deemed necessary.


2. Services

2.1. Our services include, but are not limited to: 

   a) Man and Van hire

   b) House moves 

   c) Office and commercial relocations 

   d) Furniture delivery and transport

   e) Logistics planning and support 

   f) Specialist equipment hire (e.g., mobile cranes, heavy duty strapping chain, etc)


2.2. The following services are subject to specific written agreement and may incur additional fees:

   a) Dismantling and reassembly of furniture

   b) Long distance removals (outside of Greater London).

   c) International relocations

   d) Secure storage solutions 

   e) Professional packing and unpacking services


3. Customer Responsibilities

   You are responsible for:

   a) Providing accurate and complete information about the move.

   b) Ensuring clear access for our vehicles at both pickup and delivery locations.

   c) Ensuring the safety of our crew and their equipment.

   d) Providing relevant clarifications to our crew during the move.

   e) Disclosing any fragile, high value or oversized items.

   f) Ensuring all items are properly packed and secured (unless our packing service is booked).

 

4. Liability & Insurance

4.1. Our liability for loss or damage is limited to instances caused by our proven negligence or wilful misconduct.

4.2. We are not liable for loss or damage caused by:

   a) Force Majeure: Acts of God, severe weather or uncontrollable natural events

   b) Customer Error: Negligence, poor packing (by the customer) or misconduct

   c) Inherent vice of goods (natural deterioration of goods e.g., perishable items or internal electrical faults not caused by transit).

   d) Any third-party actions: Delays or damages caused by third parties beyond our control

4.3. Insurance: While we carry Goods in Transit and Public Liability insurance, we strongly recommend that customers obtain independent insurance for high-value belongings.


5. Data Privacy

6.1. We collect and use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is available on  our privacy policy page.


6. Dispute Resolution

6.1. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be resolved through mediation/arbitration as a first resort. If mediation/arbitration fails, the parties may resort to litigation in the courts of the UK.


7. Governing Law

7.1. This agreement is governed by the laws of England and wales. Any disputes shall first be addressed through mediation or arbitration before resorting to litigation.


8. Severability

8.1. If any provision of this agreement is found to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be severed from this agreement and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.


9. Changes to T&C

9.1. We reserve the right to update these T&C at any time. Any changes will be posted and updated version will be available on our website.

Quote and Additional Charge

Quotes are based on the information provided (typically assuming ground-floor access).

We reserve the right to revise quotes or apply additional charges if:

a) New information regarding the job materialises after the quote is issued.

b) Delays occur due to the customer not being ready; waiting fees apply after 15 minutes of arrival.

c) An attendance fee is charged if a booking is cancelled while our team is en-route or on-site.

d) Parking is unavailable or access is restricted. Any parking fines incurred due to customer instructions will be billed to the customer.

e) Undisclosed heavy items (over 20kg per box) or oversized items require additional staff or equipment.
